The Last Post

This blog was incredible experience! More than imagine. Yes, because in the first time when the teacher of english three said that we must written a blog I think would be boring, but no! Write a blog is very funny and with the passage of time even more. In fact, this year has been fun and a little less stressful than last year.

I think the topics have been very interest and also challenging, so written it was enjoy and

read the post from my others classmates have been interest too, although now we are few in this class, because I could know more about them and realize of my own tastes. For this reason, it was an experience that challenged me every week.  Sometimes it was hard find the words for describe the situation or decide by one thing specific. But I think that this activity helped me improve a lot, thoughts are clearer and write makes me easier and that's what I'm afraid I forget when I finish this class. I hope it doesn’t happen.

Obviously I need practice speaking and listening more, because is very important apply the theory in practice and talking to another is difficult , but I think it 's just get loose, just like the writing blogs.

And outside the english class I often use english, maybe not for speak, but I listening series in english and sometimes I put the subtitles in english for learn more about grammar. Also I listen to music in english and now I dare a little more to read articles or news.

Changes To My Study Program

In this post, well like the others, I don’t know exactly to write. Because the study program always can be better and because I am not an expert on education. That aside, I think the curriculum is too oriented journalists who write for the media and for people who don't want to follow that area gets a bit tedious study five years. For example, the first three years is mostly either write reports, news or chronic and for people who want don’t to follow write in the future like a job, for many reasons, the journalism become boring and almost like a duty.  

About the subject in general, I think should be included since the first year subject about

relationship with the business or with people, such as psychology. Why? because if we be journalists, we should be know about who people think, why people believe in traditional media for make the change in mentality.

I think length of studies are reasonable, but the workload is unequal between semesters. In first year the semesters are light, no more than five subject. But in the third year overtake the six or even seven subject. Although depends than how much responsible you are.

The building of the ICEI is acceptable, isn’t like a FEN building, but at least have the enough study room. The teachers are excellent in my opinion, because they are many studies, some with studies in abroad or with years of experience, and the methods I think are good, not all. Depends the teacher. Some are driven by his temperament.

Winter holidays ... ¿?

My winter holidays almost never been planned, in fact, I don’t remember the last time I left Santiago. I think it is a necessary break, because the end of semester is tiring. Then relax, get away and enjoy the winter seems an excellent idea. Although I prefer my bed, the heater and watching sitcoms all day with a delicious tea.

As this year it was interrupted the student mobilizations, I think I will not go anywhere. In this context it is difficult to plan a trip because we don’t know when we return to class. Also it probably my vacation will not coincide with the vacation of my mom, and if traveling I would go with her, all my trips have been with her.

Then as I plan to do nothing for these winter holidays, my plan is to save money for summer. On that vacation I would go with my friends from school, we want to go south of chile.We want go across the cities most important and know the most beautiful places in south. I want know Panguipulli, Frutillar, Lican ray, Pucón among others.

And the activities that we do? well, I think that will be seen at the time. It depends on the money  we have and the weather of course. But I have been told that pucón you can go kayaking and that frutillar sell delicious kuchen.I hope to do all we can and make it an unforgettable February. Because although not go on vacation in winter, in summer it is unforgivable not leave.

A Meal I like to Cook for Myself

This post is one of my favorite until now, because I love cooking. As I live only with my mom, in several times I stay alone in the house, then that makes me cook much and enjoy it. I think I'm good at making pastas, sauces of all kinds, pancakes, smoothies and and sauteed vegetables.

if I had to choose just one to develop this post would be the pancakes, because they are

special, tasty and very healthy, in fact I learned the recipe for a healthy food blog. It is prepared in a few minutes and is very easy. You can eat all the time, but is ideal for breakfast, because it gives you energy for the whole day. For example, I love to cook pancakes in the breakfast when the day it's cold. Perfect for winter!

Recipe (for one person):

Oats → a third cup

egg → one whole egg and two whites

essence of vanilla  (replaceable) → a teaspoon

bitter chocolate powder → one tablespoons

water or milk → only a stream

stevia → at ease

So you put all the ingredients in the blender until a pasty liquid. Then the frying pan heated medium heat, without adding oil, put a little of the mixture and wait about 3 minutes per side. Taking care to check if it is too hot to prevent burning. When you finish and serve them, they can be filled with whatever you want : jam, delicacy, fruit or alone, also they are delicious.

Postgraduate Course

I haven't really thought about a postgraduate course, because I think that these courses should be made when one is certain. Then as I’m not sure that journalism is mine, I haven’t thought about what to study after. But I think I would like continue to study, that ? I do not know yet.

If I had to choose the subjects of this imaginary postgraduate course would everything related to the understanding of social relations. I thought of studying psychology or a course of education, but nothing related to “pure” journalism, because I’m not interested. Maybe do a mix of psychology, pedagogy and of course journalism. I think that there goes my future.  

I would like to study abroad, perhaps somewhere where english is spoken. So I take the opportunity to practice the language and know places and different people. Any course I do, I think it's much more rewarding it abroad, learn something in another culture makes knowledge more complete.

I would like to study in part time course, because I think that direct contact is very important. Learn from another and learn the ways in which teaching makes the process much more satisfying. And it isn’t full-time is because I think I'll be working , because in general these courses are expensive.

My Future Job

This post is the most difficult until now, because I don’t have any idea what I do the next years.  If you ask me about what is my plan of job I wouldn’t know that answer. But the imagination and dreams always remain just have to find the opportunities, so I hope will be happy with my future job.

Study journalism is what I want, I can’t see me in anything else,  but job as reporter, I don’t now. I didn’t like do reporting and I think interviewing is invasive. Although I’m realistic and  I don’t refuse to work in media communications if one day means so deserve. Maybe work in radio is what most convince me, but the trouble is that it isn’t only speak well also have to do reporting.

Now imagining my future job, I think it will be outdoors most of the time and obviously I would like travel and meet a lot of people. I couldn’t work in a office all day. That’s very boring.  

I thought I would put a garden to teach in a different way from childhood. Something like an artistic garden. Why the garden? Because children are a paper blank, are innocent and because I think the children are the future, but in the present must be taught to be respectful of others and the environment and to be happy with little.

MY PETS

For this week I talk about my two pets: one cat and one dog. Both are so cute, small and I love it so much. I’m a dog lover and cat lover at the same time.

Simba is my cat. I found it lonely in the street, when he was a little cat. So I picked up and took it into my house. Since this day, three year ago, Simba is the best cat for me. He is obedient, clean, smart and spoiled. Also Simba is very good for sleep. He sleeps all day and part of the night, in fact, when I’m stay in my bed watch tv or make a homework, Simba come and he begins meow for to make him cuddle.

And my dog, Hipo, he arrived at my house recently, in November the past year, and the first he stole my heart. He was very friendly, but with the months he become  very problematic. He loves to bite the toys, the clothes and the plants of my mother. Because this my mom wants give Hipo, perhaps the next month a friend of her it takes. So I stay only with my dear Simba, the best cat, pet and son ever.
